Karan Talpade has been appointed Executive Sous Chef at Ajman Saray
Ajman Saray has brought Karan Talpade into its kitchen as executive sous chef. The luxurious resort is home to six dining outlets, as well as in-room dining.
These venues are the Mejhana Restaurant, Bab Al Bahr Beach Bar & Grill, Al Shorfa Lobby Lounge, Vista All Day Dining, Escape and Safi Restaurant & Bar.
Talpade joins the Ajman hotel from The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai - also part of the Marriott portfolio. Here he was chef de cuisine, handling culinary operations at La Baie Lounge and Palm Grill. This role demanded him to oversee a brigade of 14 chefs.
Before Dubai, he was at Marriott Marquis City Center Doha, first as a sous chef before moving up to chef de cuisine two years later. He has also spent six years with The Oberoi Group in India.
