Jim Luchars

Stonebridge Companies, a Denver-based, privately owned, innovative hotel owner, operator and developer, has announced that chief investment officer Jim Luchars will transition to the role of senior advisor.

The planned transition to senior advisor allows Luchars to remain closely involved in the strategic direction of the company. Alongside founder, CEO and chairman Navin C. Dimond, Luchars is helping to lead the search for a new chief investment officer and will remain in the role until it is filled.

When Luchars joined Stonebridge Companies as chief investment officer, he began overseeing all acquisition and development growth initiatives for the company.

Prior to joining Stonebridge Companies, Luchars served as a principal with AEW Capital Management and senior consultant with the Ernst & Young Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group in New York City.

During his time at AEW Capital Management, Luchars led the firm's hospitality group, and was responsible for investment origination and asset management for all hotel investments in North America. Along with this, Luchars was involved in more than $3 billion in hotel and commercial real estate transactions in the United States and Europe. He also oversaw office, retail, residential and industrial acquisitions in Chicago, Boston and Florida.
