Sonal Uberoi named Director of SPA at Four Seasons Hotel Madrid
Four Seasons Hotel Madrid announces that Sonal Uberoi is the new Director of its SPA. With more than ten years of experience in spa and wellness centre management, Sonal Uberoi will now be in charge of managing and overseeing business at the SPA of Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, as well as leading the strategy for the Hotel's wellness offerings alongside the rest of the team.
Born in Kenya and of Indian background, her professional career has taken her to places all over the world where she has learned from many cultures and studied hard to provide her clients with the sector's most innovative and cutting-edge ideas. Leaving her mark on every project she begins, she has already worked on more than 17 projects (since 2008) with leading hotel groups and companies worldwide.
A law graduate from the prestigious King's College London who worked as a financial analyst for Goldman Sachs, she soon discovered her passion for the wellness industry. Her ability to combine these two worlds has made her a benchmark in the sector.
She has been the spa director at Six Senses in Doha and regional director of spa Asia Pacific for Sofitel in Macau. She has also set up her own wellness consultancy group, which is a leader in both the local and international markets. The major projects that Sonal Uberoi has developed in Spain include designing the "Spa Sommelier" idea for Abadía Retuerta (from creation through to management), as well as the conceptualisation and launch of the SHA Wellness Clinic. She has also written a best-seller entitled The Wellness Asset.
Her perseverance, dedication and hard work have positioned her very highly in the wellness sector. Her philosophy of integration in the hotel sector is based on a union between wellness and work, a new all-in-one spa concept in the city of Madrid.
The mission for this new spa at Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is to leave a long lasting positive impact on people so they can feel increasingly better over time. Creating a significant legacy through wellness in people's lives is Sonal Uberoi's goal as she embarks on this new adventure that promises to become a milestone that will be appreciated by future generations.
