Joel Manion

Located in the heart of Palm Springs, hotel ZOSO announces the appointment of General Manager, Joel Manion. Bringing over 30 years of hospitality experience to his new role, Manion now manages all aspects of the 162-room lifestyle property, including The Kitchen, an indoor and outdoor, locally-sourced dining destination; The Lounge at ZOSO, a stylish lobby bar; poolside experience inclusive of pool bar, lounges, and cabanas; over 25,000-square-feet of event space; and more. Working closely with Columbia Hospitality, the hotel's management company, Manion oversees all operations at hotel ZOSO to create an elevated, unforgettable guest experience.

Manion is a seasoned hospitality professional, with a career that spans three decades. He most recently held the position of Area General Manager with TPG Hotels & Resorts in Washington, D.C., where he oversaw daily operations for Marriott AC Hotel D.C. Convention Center, Moxy Hotel Downtown D.C., and the Courtyard Dupont Circle. Prior to that he was Managing Director of the Washington Court Hotel in D.C. and a team member of Harbaugh Hotels for 14 years. He also had his own consulting company, BAM Solutions. Joel started his career in California, so he is delighted to come full circle with his new post at hotel ZOSO.

Joel's connection to Palm Springs go back more than 20 years. While with Harbaugh Hotels he gave operational and group sales support to the Palm Springs Riviera (now Margaritaville), which they managed for 15 years. Additionally, Joel's sister Juliana Copley and brother-in-law Andrew Copley own Copley's restaurant which has consistently been one of the top restaurants in Palm Springs for the past 18 years. Manion graduated from San Jose State University and he currently lives in Palm Springs with his family.
