Jean-Marc Schnell has been appointed Chief Operating Officer at Adagio in Paris
Adagio, the European leader in aparthotels, confirms its development and modernisation ambitions by choosing Mr. Jean-Marc Schnell as the new Chief Operating Officer and member of the Management Committee.
With this recent appointment, Jean-Marc Schnell aims to capitalise on the strong growth in activity of the brand to mobilise the talents of the sector and use his accomplished experience as a leader in the hotel industry, acquired on three continents over thirty years.
As a member of the Management Committee, his mission will consist of supporting Adagio's growth plan, leading the Operations team in France and Europe, implementing the renovation plan and monitoring the transformation of the network. Along with supporting Adagio's ambitious development plan in France and internationally and participating fully in Adagio's CSR ambition.
For Jean-Marc Schnell, working with people is essential in the hospitality field. He has built his experience around this conviction.journey started as the Director of independent hotels in the Regions (Alsace and Calvados) following the Director of the franchised Sofitel of Montpellier. Jean-Marc Schnell then joined the ACCOR group in 2003 to develop Operations in Africa with a network of 40 hotels (2 to 5*) in 15 countries until 2016.
He finally joined the ACCOR Centre Europe team, based in Munich, as VP Operations economy and midscale segments for Germany and Austria (205 hotels) before becoming SVP Operations Franchises and in charge of owner relations during the Covid crisis with more than 70 partners.
