Orhun Denizoglu

Denizoglu began his hospitality journey in 1997 with finance before transitioning into F&B as the beverage manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Hotel & Spa. Later his career path led him to Fairmont Bab Al-Bahr in Abu Dhabi as director of banquets. He then joined Ayada Maldives as director of F&B, where he managed seven outlets. Denizoglu further expanded his skills as director of F&B at the JW Marriott Medan, Indonesia. Moving forward he joined the Bangkok Marriott Hotel, Sukhumvit as director of operations.

In 2019, Denizoglu concluded his time in Thailand after joining the Royal Orchid Sheraton Bangkok as hotel manager. He then returned to Indonesia as general manager of the JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta. During his tenure there, he achieved a 1.3 percent increase in gross operating profit, a 10.8 percent rise in RevPAR, and a 5.9 percent growth in restaurant & bar revenue. Furthermore he improved employee satisfaction significantly, showcasing his team-building skills and ability to foster a supportive work environment.

Denizoglu's most recent role was as general manager of the JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha, where he achieved further success in employee engagement and satisfaction, with a 10 percent increase in a year and the lowest voluntary turnover in Doha at 20.88 percent. His extensive F&B experience was instrumental in launching the 42 Oak & Smoke Cigar Lounge, transforming the Shanghai Club and Fuego outlets, and reimagining the Pool Deck & Level 8 with a tropical-inspired design.
