Graciana Garcia Iribarne

Graciana commenced her career in the hospitality industry in 1992 and after holding a number of key positions within that sector, moved into consulting where she was appointed Managing Director of HVS - Buenos Aires and HVS - Lima. Graciana, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, graduated from Hotel Management at the University of Belgrano. She started her career at Caesar Park Buenos Aires (Westin Hotel). After six years, established herself in Europe, enlarging her expertise at the School of Hotel Management in Switzerland while working at the Caux Palace - SHMS. Back in Argentina, Graciana worked for prestigious hotel chains, such as Marriott International (involved in the Development Program of Courtyard and Ramada within Argentina) and Starwood Hotels & Resorts (pre-opening team at Sheraton Pilar Hotel & Convention Center). During that time, she served in various operational capacities including Front Office Assistant Manager, Rooms Manager, Manager on Duty and Operations Manager, and she took part in numerous hotel openings in the region. In 2002, she joined HVS as a Senior Consultant. Upon successfully conducting several projects on developments in Argentina, as well as in Chile, Peru, Colombia and Uruguay, and after acting as Executive Vice President, she became the Managing Director of HVS Buenos Aires in March 2008. With the recent office opening in Peru, Graciana expanded her role also as Managing Director of HVS Lima.
