Jessica  White

Joining HVS in 2012, Jessica enjoys combining her real estate background, finance education, and passion for hospitality as a Consulting & Valuation Analyst at HVS Los Angeles. Specializing in upscale and luxury hotels in the Los Angeles area, she has appraised properties from Santa Monica to North Hollywood, as well as the remainder of California, Oregon, and Arizona.

Jessica has cultivated a broad understanding of the hospitality industry with insight into virtually all aspects of the business. While earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Management from Oregon State University, she worked as the breakfast bar attendant of a Holiday Inn Express. After college, she spent the bulk of her career working in marketing production and event management, where the largest event she coordinated hosted over 10,000 attendees. While working full-time as a Marketing Coordinator for a the residential real estate developer Riverside Homes, Jessica pursued her MBA. In 2008, she graduated from Portland State University with a MBA focused in Real Estate Finance and transitioned to Edward Jones as a Financial Advisor in 2009.

After a few years helping her clients plan for their financial futures, Jessica knew she wanted to return to her first passion hospitality. She relocated to Switzerland to attend Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) and earned her second Masters degree in Hospitality Administration, where she graduated second in her class with a thesis on Boutique Hotel Development in Sub-Saharan Africa. Memorable experiences at EHL include a tour of the Royal Suite at the Al Qsar in Dubai and tasting 34 wines during a wine tour of France's Bordeaux region. Currently, Jessica continues to expand her knowledge of the Southern California lodging market while pursuing her California Appraisal license, and she is actively involved in the EHL Alumni Association.

Outside of the office, Jessica can be found training for her next marathon. She has already completed the San Francisco Nike Woman’s Marathon, three “Hood to Coast” races (a 196 mile relay race in Oregon), and the Geneva Half Marathon, plus numerous 5 and 10ks.
