Chris’s professional experience ranges across industries and continents. He served as a consultant to Entrepreneurship Empowerment in South Africa, working with a multinational team to analyze market trends and develop operational strategies for two start-ups. He worked for Thayer Lodging Group in Shanghai, China, helping to develop the J brand for Jin Jiang Hotels and analyzing competitive luxury hotels in Shanghai. Chris also worked in front office, food and beverage, and event services roles at the Jin Jiang Oriental Hotel Shanghai. He had previously worked in operations at the Annapolis Marriott Waterfront Hotel in Annapolis, Maryland. Chris graduated from Cornell’s School of Hotel Administration.

Chris served as Rush Chair and Sports Coordinator as a member of Phi Sigma Kappa at Cornell and volunteered at the annual Hotel Ezra Cornell conference. A martial artist and avid mountaineer, Chris also belonged to his alma mater’s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and ski and snowboard clubs.
