Vince Barrett oversees all aspects of the food and beverage programs at New Castle’s properties, from conception and implementation to quality control and day-to-day operations. As the director of New Castle’s openings task force, he applies his rich experience in hotel pre-openings and the development and implementation of food and beverage programs, overseeing staff training and FF&E supplies procurement. Vince is also responsible for monitoring food and beverage product quality, ensuring that New Castle’s high standards are met and exceeded across the portfolio. In his role as managing director of New Castle’s procurement division, Provender, LLC, Vince oversees all the contract purchasing for F&B, FF&E and OS&E supplies and leads the sourcing efforts for New Castle’s procurement processes. Vince began his career in the food and beverage industry in 1975, starting as a dishwasher and working his way through the ranks, serving as corporate executive chef for a number of prestigious restaurant groups and Corporate Director of Food & Beverage for Atlantic Hospitality and Regency Inns. This multifaceted experience has proven invaluable in his career. He has held positions with industry leaders including Marriott Hotel & Resorts, Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Beacon Hotels, and several other leading hotel management groups. He joined New Castle Hotels & Resorts in 1996 after two years as the President of Network Hospitality Consultants. A respected voice throughout the industry, he serves on the AH&LA, Marriott, and Starwood food and beverage advisory boards.
