Ramsay Rankoussi

Ramsay Rankoussi is Senior Director Business Development Middle East & Africa for the Rezidor Hotel Group. Based in Dubai, Ramsay co-leads Rezidor’s strategic growth and hotel portfolio in the Middle East. With responsibility for increasing the Group’s regional portfolio to 100 hotels by 2020 across each of Rezidor’s core brands: Radisson Blu, Park Inn by Radisson, Radisson Red and the Quorvus Collection, Ramsay has made a significant contribution to creating the Group’s largest and fastest growing region, with over 12,000 rooms in the pipeline and over 8,000 rooms in operation. A Belgian national of a multicultural background, Ramsay previously led the investment arm of Millennium Hotels & Resorts, one of the Middle East’s leading and fastest growing hotel groups. During this time, he helped take the company into the top 10 ranks in the region, in terms of market share and future growth, having successfully negotiated and secured over 25 new hotel transactions, including more than 8,000 rooms across the region. Ramsay is fluent in multiple languages end enjoys discovering new cultures. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an MBA specialized in Hotel Real Estate Finance and Asset Management from the ESSEC Business School (IMHI) in Paris. Passionate about the development and investment opportunities within the hospitality industry, Ramsay enjoys structuring deals that create returns for investors, future employment for the industry and ultimately create lasting memories for the next generation of travellers.
