Jerad Bachar

Jerad has over 12 years of destination marketing experience and 13 years of hotel and convention centre experience, and has worked in an array of countries and business environments. He has worked in both developed and emerging markets to enhance the areas of tourism including marketing, sales, legislation and governance, stakeholder relations, and international networks.

Jerad started his career in tourism agencies at VisitPittsburgh in 2004. He joined the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing as a divisional director in 2008.

In 2013, Jerad launched Nasaafir where he worked as a strategic consultant for clients such as the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities and the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Cultural Authority.

He is currently leading the Tourism and Leisure sector team at the Bahrain Economic Development Board, to drive further growth to the sector and attract investments to the Kingdom.
