Frédéric Delley

Mr. Frédéric Delley has international experience working in startups and multinational companies in the fields of high technology and brand management.

After completing his Master in Data Communication Systems at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in 1998, Frédéric moved to Silicon Valley where he worked as a software engineer for Intel Corporation and Cisco Systems as well as participated in the development of several software startups. In 2007, he obtained his MBA with honors from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University (USA). Soon after, he joined Procter & Gamble at its Geneva headquarters to work in brand management.

In 2009, Frédéric came to the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) to lead the creation and development of its business incubator. He is currently a Senior Lecturer at EHL where he teaches a course on Innovation Management and supervises Bachelor industry projects.

'What makes some teams more innovative than others?' This is an increasingly important question as hotel companies feel the need to differentiate due to increasing competitive pressure. As evidence of the reinvention effort taking place today in hospitality, my institution - the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne - conducts about 100 innovation projects each year for all types of organizations and entrepreneurs active in the sector.
