Tom Beckett

Tom Beckett, Vice President Vancouver Office is a graduate of the University of Guelph, having obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Degree, specializing in Hotel and Food Administration. As a student, Tom was awarded multiple leadership prizes and high achievement scholarships including the Bachelor of Commerce Leadership Prize from the College of Business and Economics. Tom is a Candidate Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada working towards receiving the AACI Designation. He is also a member of the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA). Tom has authored several articles on various topics relevant to the hotel industry, including Accommodation Tax in Canada. Tom’s work as a hospitality valuation consultant has taken him all over Western Canada and north into the Territories, including his home town of Whitehorse. He has worked on a variety of projects including market studies, feasibility studies for proposed hotels, appraisals of existing assets, and analysis and appraisal of proposed and existing large-scale multi-use developments with a hotel component.
