Andreas Koch

Andreas Koch headed the Quality and Environmental Management as well as the Product Development and Hotel Consulting department at TUI Germany (13 years). Building on this experience, he cofounded the touristic sustainability initiative Futouris ( and represented this initiative as chairman of the board for six years. Since 2012 he advises as Managing Director and co-founder of blueContec GmbH ( hotels and tourythm (, tourist companies and regions worldwide going to align with the topic of sustainability. In 2021, the new bluecontec initiative "tourythm" started as an invitation to all tourism stakeholders to consciously shape the restart after the crisis based on the principles of sustainability and the empowerment of all involved actors.
