Dr. Faranak Memarzadeh received her Master's degree in International Hospitality Management from Toulouse 2 Le Mirail France, (Taylor’s University), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and obtained her Ph.D. from Texas Tech University in Hospitality Administration. Dr. Memarzadeh’s research is focused on Sustainable Operations and Innovation. She is serving in the Editorial Review Board of several journals and conferences and teaching Hospitality courses such as Sustainable Operations, Entrepreneurship, Hotel Operations, and Independent Studies. She has professional experience working and auditing hotels and hospitality companies such as Hilton and Marriott Courtyard. Dr. Memarzadeh is an active board member/member of professional organizations such as: Committee member of the International Council of Hotel, Restaurant, Institutional Education (ICHRIE), Special Interest Group (SIG) on Sustainability. Committee member of the Travel and Tourism Research Association (TTRA) International Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Board member of the North America Chapter of the International Federation for IT, Travel and Tourism (IFITT). Boar Member of “OTOLO”. Member of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE). Member of the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA).
