Andrew Reitmaier

Andrew Reitmaier is an experienced UK based real estate and hospitality professional with over 20 years working across the EMEA region for both owning and operating companies in senior investment, development and advisory roles. He was born in the United Kingdom and holds dual Austrian and British nationality. He was educated in the Middle East, Austria and then the UK where he latterly read International Hotel Management at Manchester Metropolitan University, receiving a BA (Hons). In the past he has held various positions at BDO and Arthur Andersen’s corporate finance and real estate and hospitality practices in the Middle East and Europe where he undertook M&A appraisals to a value in excess of €5.1bn. He subsequently moved into senior corporate roles as Chief Development Officer for Steigenberger Hotels AG and VP Development at Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts and M.A Kharafi Group, where he was instrumental in co-ordinating the investment, development and strategic planning activities, as well as setting up the corporate structure, business planning and asset management division of these groups.
