Copthorne Hotels are midscale properties in major regional business centres or resort locations in the UK, Germany, New Zealand, Malaysia and Singapore. At 31 December 2011, the Group operated 34 Copthorne hotels worldwide, with over 7000 rooms. A well established European brand, Copthorne's international expansion started in New Zealand, where it has now become the country's largest midscale hotel group.
