As Rosewood Baha Mar prepares to enter its next decade, the resort is ushering in a new chapter of leadership with the appointment of Daniel Scott, Regional Vice President, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, as Managing Director. A respected Rosewood leader whose career spans more than two decades, Scott brings a proven track record of elevating some of the brand's most celebrated destinations, cultivating exceptional teams, and creating meaningful connections between luxury hospitality and local culture.

While this appointment marks a new chapter for Rosewood Baha Mar, it is far from a new beginning. As Regional Vice President, Scott has worked closely with the resort's leadership team over the past several years, helping shape its strategic direction while supporting Rosewood's growing portfolio across the region. His deep familiarity with the property, its associates, and its vision makes this appointment a natural progression as Rosewood Baha Mar continues to strengthen its position as one of the Caribbean's premier luxury destinations.

Scott will continue to serve as Regional Vice President alongside his role as Managing Director of Rosewood Baha Mar. In his regional capacity, he provides strategic operational leadership across Rosewood Baha Mar, The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel, Rosewood Washington, D.C., Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort, Rosewood Bermuda, Rosewood Little Dix Bay, and Rosewood Le Guanahani, while supporting the continued growth of Rosewood's East Coast and Caribbean portfolio. As Managing Director, he will oversee all aspects of Rosewood Baha Mar's operations, guiding the resort's continued evolution while deepening its connection to Bahamian culture, community, and craftsmanship.

Throughout his career, Scott has led some of Rosewood's most iconic destinations through defining moments. Most recently, he oversaw the celebrated reopening of Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort, restoring one of Hawaiʻi's most beloved resorts after nearly a decade of closure. Under his leadership, the legendary property was thoughtfully reintroduced as a world-class destination while honoring the traditions, history, and natural beauty that have long defined its sense of place.

Previously, during nearly a decade as Managing Director of Rosewood Mayakoba, Scott helped elevate the Riviera Maya resort into one of Mexico's most acclaimed luxury destinations, earning international recognition for its exceptional service, culinary innovation, and environmental stewardship. His leadership extended beyond the resort itself through the establishment of Centro Educativo K'iin Beh, a bilingual nonprofit school dedicated to expanding educational opportunities for children and families in the Riviera Maya. The initiative reflects his belief that hospitality should create a lasting, positive impact wherever Rosewood calls home.
