The day of 4 July 2013 will be the Food & Beverage Chair Day which is hold by Dr. Christine Demen-Meier. It will be dedicated to the F&B industry and will feature a round table, interventions by various innovative industry players, and the award ceremony of the 2nd F&B Chair Challenge.
In the context of its F&B Chair Challenge, The Food & Beverage Chair rewards a famous benefactor of the F&B industry who is involved in the development of skills and sharing of knowledge. This reward includes both a prize and a donation made to the foundation of this famous person. This year, the Food & Beverage Chair is pleased to reward Anne-Sophie Pic for her past support of numerous associations, amongst which figure the "Petits Princes" (sick children), “Les Restos du Coeur”, and for the creation of her foundation Donnons du gout à l’enfance which aims to teach culinary arts and balanced diet to children.
