The one-day summit will address the theme "Embracing the Complete Visitor Economy” with four key sessions:

  • Why Visitor Economy is key for jobs and societal development
  • Public sectors' challenges, and opportunities inherent in politically advancing the complete visitor economy
  • Private sectors connecting the complete visitor economy
  • Strengthening weak links in the Visitor Economy

Our speakers will share their vision on how together we can better join up and create recognition for all aspects of the highly interdependent travel, tourism and trade sectors. PATA believes the complete Visitor Economy is inbound, outbound, domestic, rural, urban, public and private.

Our meeting is expected to bring together hundreds of leaders from the hospitality, tour operator, carrier and government sectors, along with senior media representatives, including networks such as CNN, Travel Channel and publications such as the International Herald Tribune, and leading travel trade journalists.

The 2013 PAS will be held at The Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre, Bangkok on Friday, April 26, 2013. On April 27-28, PATA will also hold the PATA Annual General Meeting, the PATA Chapter Colloquium, the PATA Board & Category Committee meetings, and PATA Foundation fund raising activities, all at the same venue.

The 2013 PATA Annual Summit will bring together delegates from all areas of travel and tourism. The Summit is shaping up as a great networking, insights and Next Gen thought leadership forum that will deliver tangible benefits to all professionals in the Asia Pacific travel and tourism space.
