The Hong Kong PolyU Winter School (HKWS) is an executive development programme developed by the SHTM for senior hospitality industry managers. Held annually in December, the HKWS has been running for 17 years and HKWS-X is a special version to support the hospitality and tourism industry in view of the COVID-19 situation in 2020. The HKWS-X programme offers 12 one-hour online modules in hospitality and tourism management related to or with an emphasis on the recovery from the pandemic. The programme is co-organised by the SHTM and the Hong Kong Hotels Association. This year, the special version HKWS-X will run from 2-17 December 2020 on a complimentary basis.
