Ahead of PHIST 2021 on Wednesday 27th October 2021, four free one-hour environmental masterclasses will be held online. "Phuket Hotels Team Up and Aim High to Reduce Plastic Use" (15.00-16.00 hrs) will seek to solve the plastic emergency in Southeast Asia.

About CAP SEA Project
The Collaborative Actions for Single-Use Plastic Prevention in South-East Asia (CAP SEA) project is helping to address the plastic crisis in Southeast Asia by focusing on upstream approaches (such as re-use, recycled content targets, design for recycling and ecodesign) and embedding those in broader Circular Economy Strategy Advice to the governments of Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.
The project is being implemented as part of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU)'s "Export Initiative Green Technologies.
