The Mr. C Hotels portfolio has expanded to the banks of Lower Manhattan with the launch of the Mr. C Seaport. Marking the brand’s arrival in New York, the 66-room boutique hotel will add a splash of European charm to the Seaport District of the city.
Danish architect Thomas Juul-Hansen emphasized both European glamour and nautical motifs in his design of the property, which pays homage to its location. Guestroom configurations include six premium suites with furnished outdoor terraces and expansive views of the Brooklyn Bridge. A luminous teak veneer adorns each guestroom along with rain showers and rich textures paired with classic hues.
The Italian eatery Bellini welcomes diners to a cozy bar area, which is adorned with cherry blossom branches to convey warmth and intimacy, while also accentuating the historic features of the building like brick walls and exposed wood beam ceilings. Soft pink hues honor the restaurant’s namesake in onyx bar accents and upholstered seating. Soft, natural lighting illuminates the high-gloss teak panels of the dining room as well as its gray travertine floors.
