Saudi Arabia: Shaza Al Madina, member of Global Hotel Alliance and winner of Saudi Arabia's Leading Luxury Hotel 2018 Award, has announced the successful completion of the first phase of training for the third batch of Shaza Kifah graduates.
Luxury hotel brand Shaza Hotels has opened a new 251-key property in Saudi Arabia's holy city, Makkah, said a report.Offering views of the Holy Mosque, the hotel is located within the precincts of Al-Masjid Al-Haram and the new Jabal Ka'aba district, said a report in Arab News.
Shaza Hotels, an independent five-star luxury hotel operator, has signed six new hotels across the Middle East that are set to open between 2016 and 2019 in addition to its existing Shaza Al Madinah in Saudi Arabia.
The 251-key Shaza Hotel in Makkah is due to open within the next 12 months, whilst the 205-key hotel in the capital of the Kingdom, currently under development, is due to open in 2017. Commenting on the signing, Simon Coombs, President and CEO of Shaza Hotels, said: "Following the opening of Shaza Al Madina and the signing of Shaza Jeddah, we have been actively searching for the right opportunities to increase our portfolio of hotels in the Kingdom.
Shaza Hotels has announced the signing of a management agreement with Hani Group for the operation of a 156 rooms hotel in the Seef district of the Kingdom. The Hani Group, a construction and hospitality group which already owns and self-operates two upscale properties, has chosen Shaza Hotels to develop the group's first luxury hotel as part of its hospitality portfolio growth.
Three more hotels have been added to the Shaza Portfolio. The brand's growing reputation is clearly reflected in the signing of these iconic properties, which will set a new benchmark for five star hotels in these prominent cities.
Opening in Spring 2016, Shaza Doha, is located in the heart of the cultural district, within walking distance of major tourist attractions, including the famed Museum of Islamic Art, the Qatar National Museum and Souq Waqif.
