REZsolutions, Inc.

PHOENIX / REZsolutions, the world's leading hotel reservations and marketing company, announces the completion of the GuestView(R) Property Management System (PMS) installation in over 100 Fairfield Inn by Marriott and SpringHill Suites by Marriott locations, with an additional 300 planned by November of this year.

"Our selection of the REZsolutions' GuestView PMS was largely driven by a need to find a business solution to outdated systems," said Dave Mendis, brand vice president for Marriott International, Inc. "REZsolutions was first in the market with functionality of a Windows-based system. Marriott saw this as a distinct advantage for our Fairfield Inn and SpringHill Suites brands."

Fairfield Inn by Marriott appeals to value oriented business and leisure travelers, providing clean, quality accommodations and complimentary continental breakfast. SpringHill Suites by Marriott is an upper, moderately priced, all-suites brand. All existing Fairfield and SpringHill properties will complete installation by November. New Fairfield Inn and SpringHill Suites will feature the industry's first interactive, Microsoft(TM) Windows-based PMS product.

Marriott plans to add an additional 70 SpringHill properties within the next 18 to 24 months. Marriott International has the option to rollout GuestView to Courtyard and Residence Inns.

"We are pleased that Marriott recognized the benefits of GuestView's sophisticated technology and the ability to deliver a seamless, two-way interface to their central reservation system," said Shar Moseng, account manager of property management systems.

"The interactive interface allows us to put more extensive guest history information at the fingertips of our guest service representatives including Marriott Rewards information," said Mendis. "GuestView also features a real-time interface with our central reservation system in order to move data quickly between the two systems. This translates to more effective use of front desk personnel, freeing them up to provide the best possible service to our guests. This is particularly critical in a limited service setting."

"No other PMS on the market offers the degree of integration and sophistication in an easy-to-use, easy-to-learn environment," said Bonnie Ligouri, vice president and general manager of property management systems at REZsolutions.

"As we train our staff on GuestView, we have found that the Windows-based system is a tremendous plus as most of today's employees have grown-up learning how to navigate personal computers featuring Windows. This is a significant leap from the former character-based systems, and the reduced learning curve also translates into a better guest experience at our hotels," said Mendis.

"We view our relationship with Marriott as a true partnership that has lasting benefits for their brands, the employees and guests, said Ligouri. "We are excited with the potential of growing this relationship to service other Marriott brands."
