Optims deplays its ASP technology The software editor will equip all the holidays centers of the French Forces

The IGESA has chosen the Optims.PMS solution (front-office tool) and the stocks management tool to equip all its establishments to be found anywhere on the French territory. Thus by the end of the installation 125 places will be Optims PMS equipped. The signed agreement amounts to 1.5 million euros.

The special factor in the project, which made IGESA decide to choose Optims was Optims very availability to master ASP technology (Application Service Provider). Indeed in its field, Optims is one of the European pioneers in this technology, and all its solutions offered (software packages of management, Yield Management and electronic booking power station) are ASP ready.

Faced with the emergency imposed by the very short period of time between two seasons, IGESA mainly based its choices on three fundamental queries :

• Immediate availability of the ASP mode compatible with its internal computerized structure an net architecture ( complete intranet, processing server, data server, customer section…).
• Wide functional and organizational range ( restaurant : setting menus, placing order, managing regionalized stocks ).
• An actual capacity of meeting any expectation, of immediate reactivity, of long-term help desk service and of presenting an entirely external server.Optims fulfills each of these requirements explains Reserve Colonel Gérard Vincent representing IGESA.

This large scale ASP contract is the first one to be signed by Optims which just finalized this product at the end of the year 2000.
