MICROS 8700 Hospitality Management System Chosen by Pechanga Resort and Casino, California's Largest Casino Resort Set to Open Summer 2002

The MICROS 8700 HMS is comprised of MICROS-developed application software running on the multi-tasking, multi-user SCO UNIX operating system. This cost-effective, highly usable point-of-sale system is designed on open systems architecture specifically capable of handling high-usage environments with multiple revenue centers.
"Pechanga Resort and Casino includes a 522-room hotel, a convention center, 85,000 square feet of gaming space, more than a dozen restaurants and bars, gift shops, an RV park, and soon, an 18-hole golf course," explained Rod Luck, Director of Information Technology for Pechanga Resort and Casino.
