Optims take-off in China: White Swan Hotel installs Optims Revenue Management System
The 843 rooms White Swan Hotel in Guangzhou, China, is about to start maximising its profitability by using Optims RMS, an independent revenue management system (RMS) developed by Optims France. White Swan Hotel is an outstanding installation in two ways: Not only is it Optims' first RMS installation in China, but it is also the 500th RMS installation worldwide. An additional 20 hotel chains already profit from the well-known RMS solution City.
In November 2002, White Swan Hotel signed the contract with TravelSolutions I.T., the certified business partner representing Optims in China and closely cooperating with Optims' Asian headquarter Hogatex-Optims Asia in Singapore. Life operations start in February this year. TravelSolutions are going to provide White Swan Hotel with local support and training.
Mr Zhang Tian, Assistant General Manager of White Swan Hotel, says, "During the last couple of years our hotel has sent many executives overseas to study revenue management.
