MCRS, a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality industry, announces that the Perkins Restaurant & Bakery chain has signed an agreement to implement MICROS RES (Restaurant Enterprise Series) 3000 Software and the newly developed Workstation 4 (WS4), in all corporate locations currently running MICROS 2700, over the next two to three years. Perkins, operated by The Restaurant Company, in Memphis, TN, is a long-time customer of MICROS and has been installing RES 3000 in all new store openings over the last two years.

The MICROS Restaurant Enterprise System (RES) 3000 is a comprehensive suite of integrated applications that help build success through every level of operation, from ensuring that each customer gets the right order on time, to controlling prices, menus and profits on a chain-wide basis. Perkins will install several modules within the RES 3000 platform including the MICROS 3700 Table Service Restaurant Point-Of-Sale system, Transaction Analyzer, Credit Card Authorization and Posting, and Enterprise Management. In addition, Perkins will install the newly developed WS4, a revolutionary, fully functional POS device embedded with Windows® .
