NBTA Poised to Hold Largest Trade Show in Its 35-Year History

ALEXANDRIA, Va.--Four months ahead of its opening date, the Annual Trade Show of the National Business Travel Association (NBTA) is more than 92% full. This year, NBTA expects to host the largest trade show in the 35-year history of the Association.

As the travel industry suffers from the economic slowdown and global political tensions, corporate travel professionals are looking for cost effective ways to do business. NBTA's Annual Trade Show, the largest in the business travel industry, consistently generates great interest as it gives its attendees the opportunity to save their companies time and money.

Within the show's three-day period, business travel buyers get a comprehensive snapshot of the entire travel industry and the chance to evaluate new products, source new suppliers, and negotiate, all in one place. The show is equally invaluable to travel suppliers, offering an unmatched opportunity to present their products to more than 1,000 corporate travel purchasers.

"The right trade show can significantly shorten the sales cycle and save time and money for both travel suppliers and buyers," said Zane Kerby, Director of Exhibits and Advertising at NBTA.

General industry volatility has made strengthening buyer/supplier relationships a priority for all involved in the business travel field. Travel industry professionals consider networking events such as the NBTA Trade Show to be effective tools for building relationships.

"The NBTA Trade Show is an invaluable opportunity for building strong, loyal relationships between travel managers and suppliers, which in turn increases stability for both sides," said NBTA President Kevin Iwamoto.

The NBTA Trade Show will be held August 11-13, 2003 during NBTA's 35th Annual Convention in Dallas, Texas. For more information about the event, visit .
