Mr. Young brings a wealth of hospitality industry knowledge with over 19 years of experience in both operations and information technology. Mr. Young entered into the hospitality industry working mainly in a management capacity with General Mills Restaurants Corporation, The Four Seasons Hotels Group and Weller Hotels, based in Australia. Mr. Young then transitioned his operational experience into the hospitality technology environment moving to the Caribbean to head up the implementation and business direction for a prominent hospitality technology organization.
Mr. Young's last position was as V.P. of Hotel Systems and Integration for Newtrade Technologies Inc. He sits on the AHLA's e-business committee, is heavily involved with the Open Travel Alliance and is a member of the advisory board for Spotnik Mobile, a hospitality WiFi start-up company based in Toronto, Ontario.
