Bonzaï Hotels Chain Choose Optims Electronic Distribution Channel

Otedis (Optims Technology for Distribution) the e business subsidiary of Optims Group, the European leader in information technology solutions for the hospitality catering and tourism industries, has been selected once again by Bonsaï Hotels chain to complete its electronic reservation and distribution system by choosing Amadeus’GDS (Global Distribution System) network.

Bonsaï Hotels chain already uses Otedis’solutions for over a year: Otedis.Call Center, the electronic central reservation system. Otedis.WebRes, the real time / online booking engine integrated in Bonsaï Hotels’ own web site and Otedis.Switch, the electronic distribution of hotel rooms on the Internet. Bonsaï Hotels is also equipped with Optims PMS solutions.

Christophe Rouillaux, sales Managing Director of Bonsaï Hotels explained: “We wanted to sale our rooms on GDS for long but the registration cost was too high for economic hotels. Now, Otedis can provide us with distribution on the biggest GDS worldwide at an accessible price pour one to two stars hotels. Moreover this distribution channel is perfectly integrated with Otedis’solution we already use. It allows us to still manage our properties’ availabilities from a single planning, whatever the distribution channel is.”

“This signature is important”, added Pierre Matuchet, Managing director of Otedis. “It shows the economic hospitality entry on GDS. The partnership between Optims and Amadeus, allows us to open GDS channel to these hotel categories. There is a strong demand for that type of properties and the growth should be exponential. Otherwise, we are delighted that Bonsaï Hotels renews its confidence in Otedis. It is a pledge of quality, reliability and satisfaction of our customers.”

With Optims/Otedis electronic distribution and reservation solutions, Bonsaï Hotels now provides its 19 hotels, through a unique inventory, with a real time distribution of their rooms through the Group’s web site.

By choosing GDS distribution channels in partnership with Otedis, Bonsaï Hotels will simultaneously sales its rooms through more than 64.000 travel agencies and 10.000 sales offices. This network completes the chain own web site online reservation, its central reservation office and the numerous e-distribution channels offered by Otedis. Availabilities are managed from a single central database whatever the channel distribution is. The central reservation office has all the hotels availabilities and fare in real time.
