COLUMBIA, Md., MICROS Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:MCRS) , a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality industry, and Candlewood Suites, an extended stay concept of InterContinental Hotels Group, will partner to deploy the MICROS OPERAXpress Property Management System to all Candlewood Suite properties. This solution, which is centrally hosted will be deployed to all corporately managed Candlewood properties in an Oracle 9i Real Application Cluster configuration powered by Hewlett Packard's Integrity Servers.

OPERAXpress's multi-property functionality will allow the Candlewood Suites to be centrally hosted at a data center located in the AT&T hosting facility in Douglasville, Georgia. "MICROS is introducing a new regional deployment model, which includes installation and training, for the Candlewood Suites data center project," stated Robin Layman, Vice President, MICROS IHG Business Unit.
