Hilton, the international hotel and gambling operator, is in advanced talks with Hilton Hotels Corporation of the US about a £3.6bn (€5.2bn) sale of its hotel business, in a deal that would see it split from Ladbrokes, the UK bookmaker the company owns. The deal would reunite the two Hilton companies, which were split in 1964, leaving HHC to focus on the US and Hilton with other international markets.
