Steve Rushmore, President and Founder of HVS International, the leading global hospitality services and consulting firm, has announced the formation of a Board of Directors, a step taken to continue the growth and expansion of HVS services and office locations. The Board of Directors will develop global initiatives and policies, while making strategic decisions affecting the entire company.

According to Rushmore, "The Board is comprised of members who have ownership interests in an HVS service or office location. They represent a cross section of HVS partners and will work together to develop and implement a growth strategy for the firm. While the world-wide growth of HVS over the past 25 years has been phenomenal, we need to all work together to attract the very best consultants in all hospitality related disciplines throughout the world so our clients can continue to rely upon us for the very best advice and service."

Rushmore has announced that the members of HVS’ first board are:

  • David Ling, managing director of HVS’ Singapore office
  • Russell Kett, managing director of HVS’ London office
  • Keith Kefgen, president of HVS Executive Search
  • Rod Clough, managing director of HVS’ Dallas office
  • Greg Hartmann, managing director of HVS’ Boulder office
  • Mike Sullivan, president of HVS’ Capital Corp, investment banking service

“Our board composition displays our international reach and projects a sampling of the services which we provide,” explains Rushmore. “The assembly of this board will also assist us in our continued message to clients and prospective clients that while we cover the world with our hospitality expertise and services, all our offices execute the same standards and approach. We are a unified team delivering a consistent quality product worldwide.”

Rushmore adds that the make up of the Board also shows that HVS associates possess experience in a wide range of hospitality and operational disciplines, including hotels, restaurants, timeshare, casinos, mixed-use complexes, convention centers, conference centers, parking lots, golf courses, and tourism destinations. Additionally, HVS provides service in marketing communications, staffing and recruitment, management and operations, guest and employee satisfaction surveys, interior design, investment services, technology strategies and asset management.”

The first HVS International Board of Directors meeting will be held in Los Angeles in January 2006.

Established in 1980, HVS International’s experts literally wrote the book on how to value hotels, timeshares, restaurants and more. Hotel owners, operators, lenders, banks, and management companies all turn to HVS as the respected authority on hospitality. We possess detailed knowledge and experience in the markets where we have a presence and regions in between. Our entrepreneurial mindset and company-wide philosophy allows us to think as if we were owners and operators ourselves. We know this best suits our clients’ needs.
