Over 2,300 IHG Hotels have been installed worldwide including over 147 in Latin America and Asia Pacific, and over 169 in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

Beginning in January 2004, MICROS began installing OPERA and OPERA Xpress PMS programs in conjunction with "HIRO" IHG's revenue management system. Both OPERA products offer tight integration with HIRO and the IHG central reservations system, HOLIDEX Plus.
