Online Revealed Pinguin

Online Tourism Marketing and what it means to the Canadian Tourism industry will be addressed at this premier Canadian online tourism marketing event, which will take place this year in Ottawa from May 15-17. The event will kick-off on May 15th with an e-marketing Summit organized by the Canadian Tourism Commission for invited representatives of provincial and destination tourism marketing organizations, and then move into interactive sessions and panels open to all hospitality industry professionals during the Online Revealed Canada on May 16 and 17.

Online Revealed Canada is a forum with a uniquely Canadian approach to the ever-changing online marketplace and what it means to hospitality suppliers, vendors, hotel groups, individual hotels, tourism operators, travel intermediaries, agencies and other Canadian Travel Professionals.

The first Online Revealed Canada is set to become the annual online Canadian travel event, changing its location from major cities across Canada, over the next five years. “The vision of Online Revealed is simple,” explains event co-chair Patricia Brusha of A Couple of Chicks e-Distribution Marketing, “We wanted to bring together the top Canadian Hospitality Industry Professionals to address ways Canada can compete in a global online travel economy.”

The conference provides attendees with a forum to discuss issues surrounding the Internet as a distribution vertical, and what this means to Canadian tourism. “The CTC is thrilled to gather thought leaders in the industry to bring clarity to the online travel marketplace affecting the Canadian Tourism Industry”, says Jens Thraenhart, Executive Director, Marketing Strategy and Customer Relationship Management, for the Canadian Tourism Commission, co-chair of the conference. “The Internet and e-commerce are continually influencing and impacting our Canadian tourism and travel industry, and to be truly competitive and aggressive in today’s marketplace, every sales and marketing professional in the travel and hospitality needs to have an arsenal of knowledge and understanding to maximize its effectiveness.”

Key travel leading speakers will address a multitude of topics, such as:

  • Implementing tools to boost customer retention;
  • Using compelling content to build your online Canadian brand;
