JESSIE BURGESS NAMED AS DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY-TELECOMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT

CARROLLTON, Texas | Accor North America, one of the largest hotel chain owner and operators in North America, announces the promotion of Jessie Burgess as director of the Information Technology - Telecommunications Department. Burgess’ responsibilities include leading the design, installation, maintenance, and support of the voice and data network infrastructure. His duties include long term network growth, capacity planning, and implementation of all technologies related to network hardware, PBX/voice equipment, and data communication circuits.

Prior to joining Accor, Burgess served for over five years as a communications and computer systems officer in the US Air Force. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Captain in 2001 and joined Accor as the manager of Enterprise Communications Services. Burgess received his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Grambling State University, and is currently attending the University of Texas at Dallas in pursuit of a master’s degree in business administration.

T. MICHAEL CHANDLER NAMED SENIOR DIRECTOR OF Human Resources FOR ACCOR’S BUSINESS LEISURE DIVISON

CARROLLTON, Texas (August 21, 2006) – Accor North America, one of the largest hotel chain owner and operators in North America, announces the promotion of T. Michael Chandler as senior director of human resources for Accor’s Business Leisure division. Chandler’s responsibilities include planning, development, and maintenance of a Human Resources system, and maintaining compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, and company policies and requirements. Through ongoing employee relations campaigns and employee recruitment, Chandler and his team ensure that staff members are recognizing employees as assets and resources.

T. Michael has over 24 years of Hospitality experience. He has held positions in operations from the line level to corporate positions in Human Resource Management where he ultimately found his niche. The scope of his expertise ranges from designing line level job skills curriculum to effectively managing world-wide organizational development strategies.
