Dallas, TX | Hospitality Management Corporation (HMC) is pleased to announce that Jennifer Maynard has been appointed Director of Sales for the soon-to-open Holiday Inn in Denton, Texas.

In her new role, Maynard will be responsible for leading the sales and marketing department to achieve overall business goals. In addition, she will focus on establishing the property as the destination of choice in the Denton area. With several years of experience in the Dallas hospitality industry, Maynard’s credentials include a diverse background in hotel sales and marketing, and experience in catering supervision.

Slated to open in early 2007, the hotel was developed as one of the Holiday Inn brand’s new prototype hotels. The new Denton hotel is a carefully developed concept that combines high-tech innovations with high level customer service. The 153 guest rooms, including 14 luxury suites, are designed to be elegant and cutting edge, each equipped with high-speed Internet access and two phone lines with caller ID and voice mail. The main floor will offer a restaurant, lounge, 24-hour convenience store, 24-hour business center, indoor swimming pool, whirlpool spa, and fitness center. The hotel’s 4,500 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space will be compact, convenient and totally state-of-the-art to meet the technical requirements of guests.

The hotel is strategically located only minutes away from downtown Denton, University of North Texas, Texas Women’s University, Denton Regional Medical Hospital, Denton Surgical Centers, and Presbyterian Hospital.
