Newmarket® International’s Vice President of Product Development to Present at HTNG 2007

Portsmouth, NH | Newmarket International, Inc., the leader in sales and catering solutions for the hospitality industry, today announced that Shawn McGowan, Vice President of Product Development, will be speaking at the upcoming Hotel Technology Next Generation 2007 Members’ Meeting & Conference (HTNG) in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. McGowan will be speaking on the progression of ASP to Software as a Service (SaaS) and the impact of service-oriented architecture (SOA).

HTNG is a nonprofit organization with global scope, formed in 2002 to facilitate the development of next-generation, customer-centric technologies to better meet the needs of the global hotel community. This year’s conference, open only to members, will cover service-oriented architecture (SOA) and Software as a Service (SaaS) and how these technologies are changing the way many technologists and businesses think about complex systems that need to work together. The program is designed to get beyond the hype and will include seven thought-provoking sessions on SOA/SaaS with industry-leading speakers.
