Ameritel Inns Chooses SynXis
Properties will use RedX® to manage all distribution channels
SOUTHLAKE, Texas | SynXis, the Sabre Holdings business that provides hotel reservation management, distribution and technology services globally, announced today that AmeriTel Inns has selected the RedX Distribution Management System as its single distribution platform. RedX will connect AmeriTel Inns’ eight properties to all distribution channels including Global Distribution Systems (GDS), third party travel sites, and will also provide a state of the art booking engine for AmeriTel’s own website. AmeriTel will also use the RedX Property ConnectSM to automatically integrate data between RedX their Property Management Systems. AmeriTel Inns selected SynXis for the provider’s superior technology and for the complementary services that help strengthen the AmeriTel Inns brand and increase revenue throughout their properties.

This fall SynXis will release a new booking engine, Guest ConnectSM, which has been developed after more than a year of market research, customer feedback and usability testing. “Another factor that was key in our decision to go with SynXis was the forward vision they have for their new booking engine,” added Everett. “Given the growing importance of the direct-to-property booking channel, we needed to align ourselves with the best booking engine technology available. We feel we have done that with SynXis and Guest Connect.”
