NBTA Honors Concur’s DePasquale with Allied Member of the Year Award

The National Business Travel Association (NBTA) today presented its 2008 Allied Member of the Year Award to Tom DePasquale, Executive Vice President of Technology, Concur. The award is given each year at the NBTA International Convention & Exposition to an NBTA Allied Member who demonstrates unwavering dedication to the managed travel industry and whose actions over the previous year have significantly advanced the business.

Los Angeles - The National Business Travel Association (NBTA) today presented its 2008 Allied Member of the Year Award to Tom DePasquale, Executive Vice President of Technology, Concur. The award is given each year at the NBTA International Convention & Exposition to an NBTA Allied Member who demonstrates unwavering dedication to the managed travel industry and whose actions over the previous year have significantly advanced the business.

DePasquale has been a consistent supporter of NBTA and its industry-leading events around the world. He has attended and been a speaker at numerous NBTA events, including the Business Travel Financial Forum in New York, the UK Corporate Travel Think Tank in London, the Mexico Corporate Travel Conference in Mexico City, Corporate Travel & Technology World in Shanghai, Latin American Corporate Travel & Technology World in Sao Paulo and Crossroads Milan: Paragon Business Travel Conference & Expo. His personal participation and the consistent support of his company have contributed significantly to NBTA's successful expansion of its world-class education and networking operations into key world markets.

As a member of the NBTA Allied Leadership Council, DePasquale has been key voice for the Allied community on a board-level council. In that role, he has visited many of NBTA's U.S. chapters, enhancing the relationships between NBTA's grassroots U.S. chapters and its national and global organizations.

DePasquale was founder and CEO of Outtask Inc., creators of the Cliqbook online corporate travel booking tool. Outtask was acquired by Concur in 2006 and today he is the Executive Vice President of Technology at Concur. He is also Chairman of Ride Charge, which this year is a first-time participant in the NBTA Convention. DePasqual is a graduate of the University of Virginia, with over 25 years in the software business, including 10 years in the travel industry.
