Green Globe International and Green Certifications Announce Appearance at Caribbean Marketplace
This is the first joint event for Green Certifications and Green Globe International since entering into their strategic partnership. Major travel, tourism and hospitality events are considered key sales and marketing opportunities for the dual Green Globe/Green Certifications program.
The Caribbean Marketplace is the most important annual tourism sales and marketing event in the region, with 381 supplier companies, 148 buyer companies, over 1500 delegates, and 397 booths at the 2008 event. This event attracts hotel members, airlines, car rental companies and ground handlers with qualified tour operators and wholesalers.
The event is produced by the Caribbean Hotel Association (CHA) and endorsed by the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO).
"The Caribbean Marketplace is an ideal conference venue to introduce the Green Globe/Green Certifications program to the Caribbean tourism and hospitality industry," commented Mr. Bauer. "With combined 100 clients in the Caribbean, these two programs both have significant name recognition in the Caribbean, and we look forward to presenting the tremendous advantages that the dual certification possesses for tourism businesses."
Green Globe International and Green Certifications recently launched a dual Green Globe/Green Hotel Certification program for hotels, resorts and additional tourism businesses in North, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Europe. The certifications identify compliance with internationally accepted green, sustainability standards to tourism businesses.
