Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS)

San Diego, As keynote speaker of the 2009 Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS) next week, NBC’s Peter Greenberg will share with hoteliers and investment professionals insight into the mind of today’s cost-conscious traveler, outlining and analyzing current economic and travel trends. Greenberg will discuss consumer perceptions during an unstable economy and offer business strategies for hoteliers and investment professionals.

Greenberg is best known as the travel editor for NBC's Today show, CNBC, and MSNBC; author of the New York Times bestselling "Travel Detective" book series; and host of the nationally syndicated Peter Greenberg Worldwide Radio Show. Greenberg is an Emmy-award winning investigative journalist and a contributing editor for Men's Health and Best Life magazines, a contributor to The New Yorker magazine, and has been a guest on the Oprah Winfrey Show and The View.

Named by Travel Weekly magazine as one of the 33 most influential people in the travel industry, Greenberg was the creator, executive producer and host of CNBC's acclaimed ratings winner “Inside American Airlines: A Week in the Life.” He is a regular contributor on CNBC shows, ranging from Squawk Box, Power Lunch, Closing Bell and High Net Worth.

Greenberg will provide the keynote address on Tuesday, January 27, immediately following presentation of the ALIS awards.
