NaturCert launches the campaign with the aim of supporting hotel and resort companies during the crisis for becoming certified with NaturCert and simultaneously assist them in gaining from visibility actions while building brand awareness.

The campaign in few words:

  • NaturCert provides certification services at Zero Cost and the hotel/resort gets certified within 3 months.
  • The hotel/resort
    management     makes available up to 10 room-nights to NaturCert during its mid-season for offering them in media contests organized by NaturCert with press & media at the most appropriate source market for the hotel/resort indicated by the management.

The NaturCert Certification Program:

The NaturCert Certification Program for the environment and society is a diverse and innovative certification program for hotels & tourism companies focusing in generating internal operational and external communication and visibility benefits to the tourism companies participating.

  • Step 1: Preliminary Diagnosis (Zero Cost)
The management completes the Preliminary Diagnosis Form in no more than 10 min. and once completed it can be sent to NaturCert.
Within 4 days, the NaturCert team produces the NaturCert Preliminary Diagnosis Report providing an introductory overview of the environmental and social performance of the hotel/resort.
  • Step 2: Certification (Zero Cost)
NaturCert consultants build the certification folder for the hotel/resort while the management supplies NaturCert consultants with the requested documents for the certification folder. NaturCert consultants guarantee the process does not require any work for the management and will not create any further workload.

Auditing: A third-party auditor performs the on-site audit of the property and the certification folder. For an average sized property with standard facilities and infrastructures, the audit may not need over 1 working day (man-day).
