The hugely successful business-to-business meetings forum for the hospitality design industry - HI DESIGN - is being launched for the Asia Pacific region. HI DESIGN ASIA 2009 will take place on 11-13 November at the Shangri -- La Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa in Penang, Malaysia.

Following the same unique format of one-to-one private meetings, expert seminar programme and supplier showcase with extended networking opportunities, HI DESIGN ASIA will allow senior decision-makers responsible for hospitality projects across the region to meet efficiently with the right people for their business, in a friendly environment conducive to forging meaningful relationships and creating direct and ongoing business opportunities vital for keeping ahead.

"Our events have always been about providing an environment that facilitates the most effective business communications in the most efficient way for its users" states Jonathan Needs, Director of organisers, Atticus Events.

"The level of personal contact offered at HI DESIGN ASIA between the buyers (hoteliers, architects, designers and consultants), industry suppliers and their peers, really comes into its own, especially given present economic circumstances," he continues, "even in a contracting market, the scale and diversity of the region provides scope for a great many companies operating in Asia Pacific to take advantage of the business benefits offered by the efficacy and opportunities determinable at HI DESIGN."

As registration opens for the event, the 40 buyer places available are seen to be filling steadily. Amongst those already registered are Carlson Hotels Worldwide, Åccor and Hyatt International, as well as designers Wilson & Associates, Aedas, LRF Designers, HBA, David B Tokiwa, HOK and BuregaFarnell. There are just 45 places for international manufacturers supplying to the hospitality design industry, at this exclusive event.

Overall, HI DESIGN ASIA will welcome an expected 120 interior designers/architects, hotel operators and suppliers of the ASIA region and should generate over 800 meetings for the delegates.

"A great way to meet people who matter in hotel interior design." Raphael Auphan, Zyken.
