Great Hotels Organisation (GHO: ) officially launches the Great Hotels of the World (GHOTW: ) 2009 Luxury Travel Collection directory at ITB Berlin. The latest edition includes a selection of over 100 of the world’s finest luxury hotels that showcase the highest levels of service standards available.

The annual coffee-table style directory features each hotel on at least a double-page spread and includes stunning imagery, hotel facts, exclusive packages and offers, details on spa treatments and golf course information.

A total of 17 new members were accepted into the Great Hotels of the World alliance last year and new destinations featured in the 2009 directory include Seoul in South Korea and Evora in Portugal.

In addition to the directory, the featured hotels can be browsed on the Great Hotels of the World website - , along with in-depth destination guides, additional exclusive offers, customer reviews and photos, location maps and climate charts.
