Munich -- Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts have chosen to implement Serenata @mail. Ensuing the successful initial installations in the Mövenpick Hotels Istanbul, Stuttgart Airport and Stuttgart Messe, the web application will now also be rolled out to other properties in the hotel group.

Using Serenata @mail, hotels can email personalized customer correspondence directly from their front office and sales applications. This simplifies workflows and substantially reduces costs. Automatic reservation confirmations, pre-arrival and post-stay emails are created and sent based on professionally designed HTML documents. The web-based email templates enable the inclusion of images, links, downloads and further HTML options. They help create highly visual and interactive content, which tangibly multiplies the amount of information the guest receives.

Moreover, the hotel instantly develops additional business and revenue opportunities by upselling its amenities, such as restaurants, spa area, special events, etc.

All address and customer details are automatically retrieved from the property management system in place at the hotel, without requiring an external interface. The resulting email is a personalized document which also reflects the corporate identity of the hotel. Another benefit of Serenata @mail is data security. Contrary to other industry solutions, where collected guest details are farmed out, with Serenata @mail the entire data set remains in house and is processed according to strictest security measures.
