On the morning of March 10, Hilton Hotels Corp. first launched its new lifestyle brand, Denizen, at a press conference during the Berlin hotel investment conference. Later that evening, the brand came to life in an old electrical plant decorated with overtones of the 1960s and 1970s. After arriving in the evening's mist to models-turned-hosts offering beer, wine and funky bottles of Coca-Cola, the gathering crowd was approached by servers working the room with trays of cheeseburgers, hot dogs and chicken skewers. About 30 minutes later, suddenly opera star Inva Mula-Tchako of Fifth Element fame popped out of a shipping container installation to sing the "Age of Aquarius" through the noisy cocktail party crowd.
